NPC Chairman says Bahamas vs. USA show is friendly rivalryThe idea of having a "U.S.A vs. The Bahamas" Bodybuilding showdown was something that was deemed a good idea a long time ago.But it remained just that, a "good idea" and was put on the shelf to gather dust for years. It was Baldwin Darling, president of the Grand Bahama Bodybuilding Association, who took the idea off the shelf, blew off the dust and revived it. That "good idea" will come to life on Saturday at the Hilton Outten Conven-tion Centre, in one of the biggest bodybuilding shows ever in Grand Bahama. Call it friendly rivalry, but for local bodybuilding, it will be the start of a partnership and friendship that should span a number of years of growth. National NPC vice-president and NPC Zone Chairman, Peter Potter confirmed that the competition is something that the NPC wanted to do for a long time between The Bahamas and the United States.
