Thursday's Bahamas Journal reports developer Ben Thompson of South Carolina is fighting with Smith over ownership. The pair had a brief relationship last year and now Smith is claiming he had given her the home. Thompson says he did so with the understanding Smith would buy the property from him, and now he wants her to move out. The flap comes as the Bahamian government investigates the untimely death of Smith's son, and faces political flak for the relatively short time it took Smith to obtain permanent residency in the Bahamas.

Stern, named as the official father of her new child. In the affidavit, Thompson said Smith had confessed to him that the true father of Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern was actually her former boyfriend, Larry Birkhead -- who has been fighting to be recognized as the father.

In sealed court documents filed yesterday (02NOV06) in Los Angeles County Superior, and obtained by news website TMZ.com, Payne claims Smith confessed to her in phone calls and instant messages that Birkhead is the father of her baby girl. And she alleges he was also the father of an unborn baby the actress miscarried. Payne also alleges in her declaration that Smith was taking methadone and Xanax in May (06), during her pregnancy. The actress' pal claims she actually administered pills and that she "personally observed" Smith taking "a rather high dose of Xanax". Payne says she met Smith last summer (05) in the Florida Keys, where they spent "several days" with their mutual friend, real estate developer G BEN THOMPSON, who is now trying to evict the busty blonde from her home in the Bahamas, which he claims is his.Anna Nicole Smith's Darkest Moments Rendered Darker By Failure To ...Despite having raked in untold millions selling every available photo, video, and autographed autopsy diagram relating to the death of her son and birth of her baby daughter, Anna Nicole Smith is still having difficulties making the monthly mortgage payments on her Bahamian home, which she insists was a gift from real estate developer G. Ben Thompson. TMZ is now reporting that Thompson, as part of his ongoing effort to evict the sedated new mom, has had the power turned off: Without warning, Anna had no juice for her hairdryer, no power to watch herself on "E.T." -- nothing. Four hours later, after lots of threats from her lawyer, the power company agreed to a temporary reprieve until today. But wait, there's more! Thompson and his son-in-law flew to the Bahamas on Friday and the son-in-law got on the property and served Smith with an eviction lawsuit.
