Cruise in Top Gun serenade

Tom Cruise apparently serenaded his new wife Katie Holmes by singing the famous song 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling', which he performed in 1980s hit film 'Top Gun'.

The Hollywood superstar and his actress wife tied the knot at the Castello Odescalchi in Bracciano, just north of Rome, Italy, over the weekend in front of 150 family and friends.

According to insiders, when DJ Mark Ronson started playing The Righteous Brothers' hit song, Cruise began to recreate the memorable scene in the 1986 film, where his character Maverick sings to Kelly McGillis' Charlie.

Cruise's friend and fellow Scientologist Leah Rimini said Holmes was delighted with her hubby's singing talents, adding: "She was completely touched - laughing, loving him and enjoying him."

The ceremony was presided over by a Scientologist priest in line with Cruise's devout belief in the religion and the couple are currently honeymooning in the Bahamas.

Imagining a Different Way to Live

Wendell Berry defies easy description. His book jackets call him everything from social critic to farmer to conservationist, and he is all of these, though they do not contain him. He is a writer—poet, essayist, and novelist. Everyone from The Progressive to National Review has claimed him. Eugene Peterson names Berry one of the seven most important writers on spiritual theology for him, saying that Berry's combination of "prophetic bite and Christian winsomeness … keeps our identity as followers of Jesus in sharp focus."

Yes, here you will find me

Now is the time to be who you truly are. Now it is possible to break the karmic cycle of the last 26 thousand years on earth. Now is the time to stop hiding your light.

Many of us think, well, our ego tells us: if we hide, keep quiet, say as little as possible, give away as little as possible about who we are, what we really care about, where we are going, and why, then we will not appear to be a threat to people around us, and they'll leave us alone, stop bothering us, and, we'll slip in through the back door of achievement and enter some mansion called 'success' and live happily ever after. Some of us can see that's not going to happen, so in despair we've just given up. Some of us are waiting, looking around and waiting for some third option, whatever that is.

We've been talking about our brains, our sub-conscious programs, how to transform them, and, how transformation at this level can help us to be powerful co-creators of a new Bahamas, a new world, and a new universe.

UQ Wire: Mohamed Atta Associate in South Pacific

An FBI terror alert has been released in the South Pacific for Wolfgang Bohringer, a German pilot first identified as a "close associate" of Mohamed Atta three years ago in the MadCowMorningNews and the opening chapter to "Welcome to TERRORLAND" in interviews with Atta's former American girlfriend, Amanda Keller.

"U.S. authorities have uncovered a plot to set up a flight training school in Kiribati and suspect the man behind it may have had links to September 11 mastermind Mohamed Atta," reported the Associated Press.

Bohringer recently fled tiny Fanning Island in the South Pacific aboard his yacht after a story in the MadCowMorningNews headlined "Close Associate of Mohamed Atta Surfaces in South Pacific" revealed his presence and drew attention to his suspicious intention to open, on an island with no electricity and barely a hundred inhabitants more than a thousand miles from a city of any size, a flight school to train pilots to fly only DC3's.
