Nicor Declares Dividend
NAPERVILLE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Board of Directors of Nicor Inc. (NYSE: GAS) declared a quarterly common stock dividend of 46.5 cents per share, payable February 1, 2007, to stockholders of record on December 29, 2006. This payment continues the annual rate of $1.86 per share and represents the 212th consecutive quarterly dividend payment by the company. Dividends for preferred stock also declared payable February 1, 2007 include: Nicor Inc. (NYSE: GAS) is a holding company and is a member of the Standard & Poor's 500 Index. Its principal businesses are Nicor Gas, one of the nation's largest natural gas distribution companies, and Tropical Shipping, a containerized shipping business serving the Caribbean region and the Bahamas. Nicor also owns and has an equity interest in several energy-related businesses.

New York --- A television special in which O.J. Simpson describes hypothetically how he might have murdered his former wife has been cancelled.Rupert Murdoch's News Corp dropped a planned book and the television special, titled If I Did It, Here's How It Happened, after a storm of criticism.
Fox TV personalities had called for advertising boycotts and some Fox-affiliated television stations said they would refuse to broadcast the special.
Mr Murdoch announced the decision in a one-paragraph news release. "I and senior management agree with the American public that this was an ill-considered project," he said. "We are sorry for any pain that it has caused the families of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson."
The decision to cut the project will cost News Corp millions in lost revenue.
